Summer Pops Recital
This is our yearly recital in which my students perform Solos & in Small Ensembles. The recital ends with a grand finale brass choir featuring all the students, beginners to advanced, playing together. This selection takes into account the participants' various levels of skill. This is not only a fun & great way to build musical skills but also to have a very well prepared solo for future auditions.
Our Holiday Performance
During the holiday season, my students perform carols for the Crescenta Valley community with an audience sing-along. This has become a traditional family event. Students play on decorated instruments & may enter a contest for the best decorated instrument. Mark your calendar for what has become a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit. Santa is known to visit.
The July Ensemble Games
In the summer, along with private lessons, my students may play in the July Ensemble Games. These games are a fun way to work on sight-reading skills while having a blast playing with an ensemble.
Students get to play the Games with new & old friends that are part of my studio as well as outside my studio. May include even woodwind students.
